Like Booksmart with a twist of David Sedaris and Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda, Wade and Felix Forever is a biting, Texas-sized satire of first love and first grift.

Seventeen year-old Wade Mader dreams of running away to California with his best friend and secret crush, Felix. Stuck in a stuffy Texas suburb with his mean aunt after the death of his parents, he and Felix prank their neighbors for content in hopes of becoming internet famous. When his school holds auditions for a controversial Peter Pan musical called Pansgender!, Wade sees a path to his L.A. dreams. Unfortunately, the musical gets banned, and Wade seeks to fund another venue for the production by scamming conspiracy theorists over the existence of a gay Sasquatch, igniting town-wide chaos that threatens him and the show.

Meanwhile, Wade falls into a love triangle with Felix and their homophobic classmate, Roland, whom they targeted in a cruel prank. To save his future with Felix and end the paranormal frenzy, Wade must learn to put his antics aside and confront the thing that scares him the most: himself.
